bio
As a child, Nance Broderzen fell in love with Mother Nature and environmentalism in her hometown of Davenport, Iowa. She studied ecology, print journalism, creative writing, and sociology at several colleges and universities across the country, returning to the University of Iowa to receive her Liberal Arts degree.
She then settled in Los Angeles to explore mountains, beaches, music, art walks, and other west coast wilds.
Focused primarily on our planetary need for more feminine/masculine balance, she soon moved into activism and spoken-word, while becoming well-rehearsed in the art of screenwriting and fiction.
She uprooted to N. Fort Myers, Florida in 2022, to assist her elderly mother’s transition across the veil, and will reside there until the estate is taken care of. Then it’s back to mountain country (she misses it terribly), or maybe somewhere new and exciting. Any ideas? The sky’s the limit, right?
